Inside FGWB PH / FGWB PH Journal
How we plan to build together.
A look at the workshops, challenges, mentorship, and community projects outlined in our primer.
Adapted from the For Girls Who Build PH primer. Programme descriptions reflect our plans, not an event schedule.
Our programmes are designed around a simple direction: make learning useful through opportunities to practise, collaborate, and create. Here is the programme vision set out in the FGWB PH primer.
Learn, then put it to work
Workshops and bootcamps are planned as hands-on learning sessions spanning technology, design, innovation, leadership, and project development. Build challenges give that learning a shared theme or timeline.
Community projects extend the same approach towards initiatives with social or technological impact. These formats are part of the programme plan; individual schedules and opportunities will be announced separately.
See women building—and learn from them
Women in Tech Spotlights are intended to make the work of women builders, founders, creatives, and leaders more visible. The primer also identifies internship and mentorship opportunities as a way to connect members with industry experience and guidance.
Representation and practical experience belong together. Seeing what another woman has created can make a path feel possible; guidance and opportunities help turn that possibility into a next step.
Help shape what comes next
Our roadmap includes growing the volunteer team, forming partnerships, and developing an internal project system. Longer-term ambitions include scholarship and internship opportunities, innovation programmes, and a platform for women-led work.
These are goals we are building towards, not claims that every programme is already running. Follow our official channels or request newsletter updates for announcements as opportunities take shape.
